Terms of Service

This Registry is operated by the AtoM Foundation, custodian of the platform.

1. Acceptance

By using this Registry you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or contribute content.

2. Your account

• Provide accurate registration details and keep your password confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not upload illegal, defamatory, or copyright-infringing content.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape at scale, or bypass rate limits.
• Do not impersonate another institution or vendor.

4. Content you submit

You retain ownership of content you submit (institution descriptions, software listings, reviews). You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the Registry. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

5. Service availability

The Registry is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it online and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for loss arising from outages or data loss.

6. Termination

We may suspend or remove an account that violates these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by emailing johan@theahg.co.za.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the homepage. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Disputes will be heard in the courts of Johannesburg.
