Comparison: BagIt vs OCFL for archival storage

We're evaluating storage strategies and looking at BagIt and OCFL (Oxford Common File Layout). BagIt is simpler but OCFL provides versioning built-in.

For those running Heratio with the preservation plugin - which approach are you using? Any performance considerations with large collections (1M+ objects)?
